Exquisite Pain

Finally! Art I can relate to! I really enjoyed the documentary about Sophie Calle. She just intrigued me on so many levels. I feel like my art is very much in line with her work... just ordinary things to everyone else, but a whole slue of stories for me. I desire, like her, to tell the world of my tragedies... but I also desire to show them what it is that makes me so happy. She's inspired me to do something with a few love letter's I've received through the ages, of course none so poetic as hers, but nonetheless love letters. I'm planning on buying her book also - "Exquisite Pain." I hope one day the world will sit back and gawk at the difficulty of my personality and the passion and expression in my photographs as they have for hers.

As for Mr. Derivative... don't even get me started on S&M.... Let's just say that I believe that art is a very subjective expression of life.
