I love broadway. It's one of the most spectacular events in the world. I had the opportunity to see Annie Get Your Gun when I was in middle school, and all I remember was that it was fantastic!
I am so glad that we have moved on from operas, but sometimes broadway shows are like the opera. Through this class I definitely have a new appreciation for opera, but I'm eager to travel through the broadway era. Some of the actresses and actors from that time are my favorite.
I also love watching modern movies and seeing the different elements of broadway included in them. Elements like the stage, the costumes, the singing, and the deus ex machina.
I can't wait to go to class today!! :)
