1's and 0's Grid Art

Here is my grid art project. Since I've been working on Algebra a lot lately, I used graph paper. It's a cross with a heart in the middle and sun rays surrounding it. Kassie Loo is written on the bottom because, well, it's my name. Then, across the top, there is a banner flowing in the wind with ART 211 written inside.

Even though I don't think it was enough of a different kind of graph in a sense of what the professor wanted, it was still a good idea to use something really simple as graph paper. Plus you have colors that inter-lap with one another that really do push the use of manipulating a grid.

Nice job. I thought your grid was great and creative and I liked the colorful design as well as the idea of using algebra paper to do it. One small thing that I would suggest; fill the paper with in whole with color.

I liked that idea that you used algebra paper for your grid as well as the choice of colors. Great job.

I love the colors you use here. I think it really stands out and this is a piece of art I would actually hang up. Well that also might be because I love crosses and hearts LOL. It's really well done, and I like how the banner has movement.

i thought this was nice and simple and to the point. sometimes it's good to take a step back and just use the most simple things we have. i like this a lot

Great colors. They really pop and relate to the cute idea of the heart. Although you could have found something a little less obvious than graph paper to work with as a grid, I do like the graphical way you drew on it. It almost looks like a video game. Good job!

Great job. Even though it was a simple surface you did such an interesting drawing. I especially loved the flag waving at the top.

Since I am obsessed with Math, I loved your grid art project, the thought of grid paper never even crossed my mind! The cross and heart drawing was awesome and reminded me of Romeo and Juliet the movie with Leo DiCaprio...haha don't know why... but the colors and idea were great!
