I. Love. Pacman. I've beat the arcade game at least 9 times. It's fantastic.
I am the proud owner of a 1996 Nintendo 64 game console with the following games: Super Mario World, Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood, Banjo Kazooey, Mrs Pacman, and Diddy Kong Racing...
Growing up I didn't have much experience playing any other video games- except for what I could find in the arcade. I didn't really have a need to play. I remember my next encounter being Tekken4 at DisneyQuest... then Area 51 at CiCi's Pizza... then Halo 3 on a PS3 at my boyfriends house... then Guitar Hero and Rockband at youth group on a PS2.... then Lego Batman on Wii at this little boy I babysit's house.
So I haven't played many video games. (But I can definetly kick your butt at Tekken, Area 51, and Halo.) Nonetheless, I would really enjoy having either a Wii or a PS3. My obsession with PS3s, however, it mainly because they play blueray disks and with the way the technology is advancing- pretty soon that's going to be the mainstream DVD type... and we'll all be paying $30 for one DVD with a digital copy that we've already pirated anyways. (Say goodbye to the 4 for $20 deals at Blockbuster and the $5 bin at Walmart......)
Anyways, I enjoy playing video games, and I really like learning about the evolution of them. I think it's fascinating to learn where they came from and how they've evolved! Look how far they've come! It's crazy! Now, pretty much everything is streaming off the internet. Now, you can create your own 3-D virtual you and meet and greet others while playing! What's next?
