Bauhaus is probably my favorite era so far. Not only was it influenced by DaDa, but it also produced some of the greatest architecture (and furniture) of all time. Bauhan literally means "to build." They integrated art with design and technology. We do this everyday in our world today and don't even realize it. We use technology to make art, to publish art, to display art.... and we use technology as art.
The furniture from the Bauhaus era is fantastic and rich. I love the designs of these chairs. My family and I have actually used the chairs above for family picnics and such. What a brilliant idea! The chair below
